How Spooky Mode works
- Choose a photo or take one with your camera.
- Mix one item from each decoration category, including hats, bows, and frames.
- Generate your portrait, then save the finished PNG to your Photos library.
The first portrait can be generated for free. A one-time Apple In-App Purchase of $2.99 unlocks the full catalog of 20 decorations and continued use. There is no subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Spooky Mode does not require you to create an account or provide a password.
Does Spooky Mode see my card details?
No. Purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit. The app does not receive your card number.
Why does the app need photo or camera access?
Only to let you choose or take the photo you want to decorate. You can select individual photos with Apple's photo picker and can change permissions in iOS Settings.
My purchase is not showing.
Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account used for the purchase, then use Restore Purchases in the app. If the problem continues, contact us with the device model, iOS version, and a description of what happened. Do not send payment-card information.
My portrait did not generate.
Check your connection, choose a supported image, and try again. Please avoid uploading images that contain sensitive information you do not want processed by the image-generation service.
